Following a two-year hiatus, the acclaimed musician Mahan is set to launch his fifteenth single. The track is currently awaiting approval from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance before its release.

Maryam Asadi penned the lyrics, while Majid Ebrahimzadeh crafted the melody and Behtash Zarin took charge of arranging the music. Throughout his career, Mahan has worked with a roster of distinguished Iranian artists such as Babak Sahrai, Parisa Seir, Kiana Nateghi, Ali Bahraini, Amir Abbas Hassanzadeh, Sina Derakhshandeh, Masood Homayuni, Kian Darat, Yashar Khosravi, Masood Nowroozi, and Hooman Namdari.

In anticipation of “Residan Be Kheyr,” Mahan shared, “Babak Bayat’s music initially captivated me and led me to the music world. I started playing the guitar in the late 1370s SH and later, in the mid-1380s HS, I delved into classical singing and sound design under Shams Niknam’s guidance. My journey continued with Morteza Lotfi in the early 1390s HS, where I explored pop singing and eventually ventured into producing my singles. I’ve always been selective about my production team members and learned to produce my works independently.”

He added, “Regrettably, many independent artists like myself, who self-produce, are often overlooked by music producers, leading to their gradual obscurity. Over the years, I’ve witnessed numerous talented artists being marginalized, including those we once looked up to. Now, after a two-year gap, I am on the brink of releasing a new single.”

Mahan concluded with gratitude, “I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who have supported me on this challenging path. Music directors and production agents have been incredibly supportive, working diligently alongside me to strive for the best outcomes.”
