The founders are preparing to open the doors of their first location in Newtown, CT on November 10, 2018 and have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds to complete their first store and start on their mission of bringing low waste alternatives to communities across America.“Our first store is just the first step in our plan to franchise nationwide and bring amazing foods in zero and low waste packaging to customers across the country. The company is founded by the Boccizzis and the DiPippas, two couples of busy parents and professionals that were looking for places that provided solutions to help them cut back on their own waste and quickly realized there was nothing around them that satisfied that need. They knew that there had to be others like them who were looking to make small changes to move towards more sustainable lifestyles and thus the idea for BD Provisions was born.
